Auto Glass Repair Technician

Essential Job Functions

Knowledge & Experience

Prior experience working in auto glass industry preferred, but not required
Previous experience interacting with general public, auto repair shops, auto parts shops, service technicians and service managers desired

Skills & Abilities

Friendly, helpful, approachable demeanor
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently
Clean, presentable appearance
Goal-oriented individual
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Good map reading comprehension skills
Valid Washington State Driver's License
Proof of safe driving record required
Ability to operate independently and think on your own

Responsibilities:

Technician will greet customers, repair windshields, negotiate & collect payment
Maintain superior level of customer service with timely, courteous performance

Auto Glass Replacement Technician

All-Star Auto Glass is looking for talented, highly motivated people to join our growing auto glass repair and replacement business in the Puget Sound area. We have a current need for an Auto Glass Replacement Technician.

Essential Job Functions

Knowledge & Experience

Minimum 1 year experience working in auto glass industry preferred
Previous experience interacting with general public, auto repair shops, auto parts shops, service technicians and service managers desired
Knowledge of auto glass manufacturers & ability to learn company�s product line and configurations
Familiarity with AGRSS standards very helpful

Skills & Abilities

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently
Goal-oriented individual
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Good map reading comprehension skills
Clean, presentable appearance
Valid Washington State Driver�s License
Proof of safe driving record required
Ability to operate independently and think on your own
Willingness to work in a team environment to accomplish occasionally difficult installations
NGA Certification a plus (Required after 6 months)

Responsibilities:

Technician will install, service and remove auto glass parts & materials
Maintain superior level of customer service with timely, courteous performance
Overtime may be required subject to management approval

Inside Sales Representative (Part Time)

Essential Job Functions

Direct Selling

Answer incoming calls with existing and prospective customers to deliver a high quality customer sales experience with emphasis on timely, accurate information, competitive pricing and a clear understanding of the customer's needs
Provide solutions to technical and business inquiries from prospective customers
Emphasize product position and key features, provide retail price based on product and market area
Provide estimated delivery date to customer based on variable daily schedule

Lead Generation

Handle and qualify inbound sales lead calls
Conduct first-pass lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail
Qualify leads and communicate lead information to Sales or Marketing as appropriate

CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

Compile and manage CRM database to support sales & marketing campaigns
Update CRM data to reflect customer interaction & sales trends

Knowledge & Experience

Previous experience interacting with and selling to customers over the phone
Experience working in the auto glass industry preferred
Knowledge of auto glass manufacturers and ability to learn company's products and accessories
Associate degree preferred or significant related experience

Ability to work with all levels of the organization

Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Good reading comprehension and writing skills
Compelling telephone communication skills
Familiarity with automobiles or automotive repair very helpful
Familiarity with GlasPac LX very helpful
Basic office equipment including fax machine & copiers
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite very helpful
